RGB Utility

The RGB utility previews colors and contains features especially helpful to web designers. It helps convert colors from RGB data into hex tags (used for HTML programming) and back.

Values can be entered/modified in a number of ways: using sliders and buttons; entering decimal values and hex values; selecting colors from a "web-safe" palette; using the system's color picker; and by sampling colors from your screen.

Create and store up to 24 RGB colors—helpful for creating color palettes for websites and Cascading Style Sheets. ADT will alert you that a color is not "web safe" when a caution icon appears to the right of the "Hex" text field. Click on the caution icon to replace the current color with its closest "web-safe" neighbor.

Color Palettes can also be saved and restored using the "Color Palettes" pop down menu button located above the color wells.
