Using the Print Size Adjustment settings
Using the Cutting Guides setting
You can change optional settings that control how your photos are printed. Use the Cutting settings to make changes related to cutting photos.
To change the Cutting settings, click Layout Options in the Step3: Select paper size and layout screen, and click the Photo tab.
You can enlarge or reduce the print size. These settings are not available for some print layouts. The Print Size Adjustment settings are as follows:
None |
Print the photos at the print size specified in the Select a Print Layout dialog box. |
Oversize |
Enlarge each photo by 2mm in each direction. By choosing the Cutting Guides setting on oversize prints, you can cut along the guidelines to produce photos without margins. |
Undersize |
Reduce the size of the photo by 4mm (5mm when you select roll paper as the paper size) in each direction. By choosing to print Cutting Guides on undersize prints, you can cut along the guidelines to produce photo with a 4mm margin at each edge. |
You can choose to print guidelines on each page, which make it easier to cut out the photos after printing. The location of the cutting guideline is determined by the print size specified on the Select a Print Layout menu, and is not affected by the Print Size Adjustment setting. The Cutting Guides settings are as follows:

Print small crop marks near the edges of each photo. |
If you are satisfied with the Layout settings, click Close.
Click Next to move on to Selecting a Paper Type (Step 4).
