Problems Printing

Cannot access the Select paper type and print options screen.
Cause Solutions

An appropriate Epson printer is not selected as the default printer.

Select an appropriate Epson printer in the Select Printer dialog box (for Windows and Mac OS X) or in the chooser (for Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x), and then click OK in the Select Printer dialog box.

Cannot select the EPSON Photo Quality Glossy Film as the paper type.
Cause Solutions

No Margins is selected as the layout.

Select a layout without No Margins.

Note: The No Margins feature may not be available, depending on your printer.

The orientation of photos is not uniform.
Cause Solution

The orientation of the digital camera was different when the photos were taken.

In the Editing dialog box, click the appropriate rotation radio button to correct the orientation.

The size of the printed image exceeds the size of the paper, and some portions of the image have been lost.
Cause Solution

Oversize is selected as the Print Size Adjustment setting.

Select None as the Print Size Adjustment or Fit to Frame on the Photo size settings menu.

A white border exists at the top and bottom, or left and right sides, of the photo.
Cause Solution

Fit to Print is selected as the Photo Size settings menu.

Select Crop to Frame Size from the Photo Size settings menu.

A white border exists around the edges of the postcard after printing.
Cause Solution

Undersize is selected as the Print Size Adjustment setting on the Photo Size settings menu.

Cut around the edge after printing, or click Photo Size settings and select Oversize as the Print Size Adjustment setting.

Some Page Header settings cannot be Printed.
Cause Solution

Depending on the paper size and print layout settings made on the Select a Layout menu, certain Page Header settings may be unavailable.

Change the paper size and print layout settings.

The photo information cannot be displayed or printed.
Cause Solution
The photo data has been loaded from a scanner, TWAIN device. It is not possible to display or print photo information in this situation.

The photo information was not registered in the photo file when the photo was taken.

It is not possible to display or print photo information in this situation.
