The user may not want all of the Labels in the printing templates to be printed at all in the final label sheet. For that, in the Printing Distribution Area you can find a scaled preview of the printing sheet with the position of every label according to the active printing template. By clicking over each label you can enable or disable it for printing. When the label is enabled, the small box at the top left corner of the label is filled with a circle Important: The scaled version of the printing sheet shown in the Print Layout Area reflects only the approximate position of the labels and their elements in the sheet only for enabling and disabling purposes, and does not show the preliminary version to be printed with actual positions and dimensions. To see the final preliminary result to be printed you must use the Preliminary Print function. It is possible that when you consider necessary to tune the position of all the labels in the printed sheet. This is mainly because of all the different types of printers and printing drivers that exist in the market today. In the Calibration Area you can find buttons to move at once all the labels on both directions vertically The PRINT window toolbar contains buttons for selecting the type of printing that will be made on the selected configuration template. The equivalent versions of these buttons are also found on the Main Menu.
Due to the different particular characteristics of every existing printer in the market and their drivers, the labels positions may appear displaced in comparison with their theoretical default positions in the printed sheet according to the selected template. As a consequence, it is advisable to make a Test Printout to calibrate the positions before the final printout. The By accepting the printout, the application prints a 1 centimeter black box (0.39 inches) at the upper left corner of the sheet and rectangles outlining the actual dimensions of the labels to be printed. If the black box does not appear completely, means the selected printer can't print in the whole sheet area, and has a limited printing area (see final recommendations).
The Inside this window you can choose the best fit scale factor (zoom) for his screen to see the labels arrangements in the sheet and their final look. The scale factor is set on 100% by default. The Page Preview's toolbar also lets you print the labels using the PRINT button which activates a dialog box similar to the one shown in the Print Test. The CLOSE button closes the Page Preview window and returns control to the application. Since there can only be one Label Template selected at a time, the other navigation buttons in the toolbox are useless.
