• | 1 foundation (top left, no cards) - all cards are built to this foundation, 13 cards at a time in Ace to King in suit sequences. |
• | 13 tableau piles - build down regardless of suit. Groups of cards in sequence down in suit may be moved as a unit. A space can be filled by any card or legal group of cards. At the start of the game 8 cards are dealt to each pile. |
• | Cards are moved to the foundation in groups of 13 cards, descending in sequence from King to Ace with all cards of the same suit. |
• | In suit sequences are preferred over any other kind of sequence. |
