Notification before Conversion

No Operating of PowerPoint

WebPoint communicates with PowerPoint in background during conversion job. If PowerPoint is disturbed, WebPoint conversion will surely be affected. For example, when user open a dialog in PowerPoint, the communication between WebPoint and PowerPoint will likely be "blocked" and the conversion failed as well. So we recommend user not to use PowerPoint simultaneously during conversion.

No Using of Clipboard

WebPoint has to use clipboard to communicate with PowerPoint in some certain situation due to some liminations of Powerpoint document model. During conversion, your clipboard may be unusable or disturbed. So, AVOID any operation related with clipboard in other programs when converting, especially the "CUT to clipboard" command (Ctrl+X), or you may LOST your own data!

Time Consuming Job

The conversion of Powerpoint file to HTML may be a time cosuming job, last from several to dozens of minutes(depending on the computer hardware and the presentation size). Please be patient during conversion. WebPoint will report the conversion progress instantly.

Twin but not Clone

As the rendering engines are different between Powerpoint and web browser, the converted HTML files are not exactly the same as the source Powerpoint files in appearance. WebPoint tries its best to make them as similar as possible, but slightly difference may arise in text size, list style, border style, shape size and some other fields. Some powerpoint animations are also impossible to be implemented in HTML, WebPoint may use similar effects to replace them.
