
Working With Image Effects
LightTable has more than 30 built-in filters that can be applied to your Canvas images.
To add an effect to your image, do the following:
- Select a single image.
- Select the Canvas > Show Image Adjustments option from the menubar or click the Image Adjustments button on the Canvas Controls to the left above the Canvas.
- When the Image Adjustment window appears, click the pop-up menu, which list all the effects by category, and select the desired effect.
- If the effect has not been added previously, the name will be added to the effects table. If the effect is already in the table, that effect is selected and it's parameters displayed.
To make changes to the currently active set of effects, do one or more of the following:
- To enable or disable an effect, click the check box next to the effect's name.
- To change the order in which effects are applied, drag and drop the appropriate effects within the table.
- To modify the parameters of an effect, select it and use the parameter controls displayed below the the effects table.
- To reset an effect to it's starting state, click the Reset button, to the right and above the parameter list.
- To remove an effect, select it from the effects table and press the "Delete" key.
To copy an existing effects set from an image to one or more images, do the following:
- Select a source image.
- Select the Canvas > Lift Image Adjustments option from the menubar or click the Lift Adjustments button on the Canvas Controls.
- Select one or more images to receive the applied effects.
- Select the Canvas > Stamp Image Adjustments option from the menubar or click the Stamp Adjustments button on the Canvas Controls.
